Video and photography, based in Paris. Astrid Mélot is graduated from the Visual Arts school La Cambre (Brussels).
After several years abroad (Brussels, Kyoto and Amsterdam) working in Art Conservation, she settled in Paris and first collaborated with Art Galleries and Artists Studio. These experiences opened her new perspectives. She now develops her work through fashion editorial, social and commercial content alongside personal projects. She likes to explore different typology of visual narratives while cultivating an eclectic vocabulary.
She collaborated with brands and companies such as Gambettes Box, My Little Paris, Lucila Safdie, Surprise, Maison Pourchet for commercial and social content, artists such as Anöuk Tikoudane-Tregan on short and music films and currently works on a personal project, a short-film about the grec artist Kostas Lambridis.
